Project Hot Wheels

The car is actually made by Jada Toys, but I call it my "Hot Wheels". I had purchased a can of OEM Velocity Red paint for other projects and thought why not do a small diecast car to match my own.

Step 1. Disassemble

Easy enough since there are 2 screws holding the car together, unlike most small diecast that have a stamp rivet. I also cut out and removed the very large rear wing.

Step 2. Fill and Paint

I used a body filler to smooth out the left over wing mount holes. Painted the wheels bronze. Primed and VR base coat.

Step 3. Final Paint and assembley

I painted the interior seats red and clear coated the exterior. Added some other finishing exterior paint details
